Charity traditionally focuses on easily identifiable ills in society. The emerging theories recognise the nature of society as a complex, integrated ecosystem. They predict that many identifiable problems in society are merely symptoms of more systemic weaknesses in the workings of society.
Examples of initiatives that we seek promote are focused on solving problems at their root, through an integrated approach, to provide new impetus for single-focus charities to amplify their achievements:
- Removing the barriers of shame and loneliness to people breaking out of the poverty cycle
- Identifying legislation that creates counterproductive division in society
- Balancing the narrative that supports an unequal society
- Promoting the practice of fully representative democracy
